Good morning/afternoon/evening! Welcome to my homepage!
I am CAO Zheming æ›¹å“²é“ (pronounced : Tsao Jer-ming), a Ph.D. student in the Department of Sociology at the University of Hong Kong, supervised by Prof. Eric Fong and Prof. Satoshi Araki. Prior to my Ph.D., I earned my B.B.A. with a double major in Finance and Sociology from HKU Business School, graduating with First Class Honours in July 2025.Â
My research primarily focuses on migration and integration, and I am also interested in inequality, sociology of education and occupations. I am currently working on migrant domestic workers and outbound migration from Hong Kong.
I was born and raised in Shenyang and now live in Wan Chai with my partner Litao. We are planning to move to Shenzhen.
